Ragdoll kittens gradually grow into their beautiful, distinguishing colors during the first few years of their life. The most dramatic changes occur by the age of 2, however, subtle changes in color shade and depth can continue to the age of 4. Ragdolls also grow and mature slowly and do not reach their true adult size until 3-4 years of age. After many, many months of searching, hundreds of emails and dozens of phone calls, we have finally found the perfect addition to our Ragdoll family. She is a gorgeous Seal Point Mitted female with a small blaze that we have named Grace Kelley. Grace arrived in San Diego from Montana on Sept. 6th 2002 via Delta Airlines. Her excellent family lines strengthen our commitment to founding colors and patterns. Click on her picture to see more photos of Grace Kelley. For more than 2-years now I have been on a quest. A quest to locate one or two exceptional Blue girls and bring them home, to Dkotablu. When Al Pachino's mother, Dolly's Delight our Blue Point Mitted Queen retired way back in March of 2003 my quest became an obsession. After contacting hundreds of breeders and reviewing dozens of pedigrees we finally found the Blue girls of our dreams in a small Shire in Great Britain. On Oct. 29th 2004 we drove to the British Air Terminal in Los Angeles. After a trip to customs for the import permits we left British Air with one very large and unusually heavy wooden crate. Once we were safely inside the car, we opened the door to the carrier and out walked Lady Jean and Lady Lauren. Tears of joy and an overwhelming sense of relief streamed down my face as I held them for the first time. These amazing girls are direct descedants of the first Ragdolls imported into the UK, 12 Blossom-Time legends! We are eternally endebted to our "English Angel" for her protection and preservation of these very old and special lines.
